As Las Vegas continues its’ ascension as a major sports town, the city welcomes two huge events this weekend.
First, the NHL brings NHL All Star Weekend to town starting today (Friday). There are a variety of events on tap, including the Fan Fair at the Las Vegas Convention Center today from 3pm-9pm, from 10am-8pm on Saturday, and from 11am-5pm on Sunday. At the Fan Fair fans can participate in a variety of activities. The NHL All Star Skills competition is today at T-Mobile Arena and the actual All Star game itself is Saturday at noon at T-Mobile. Three Golden Knights were selected for the All Star game, Mark Stone, Alex Pietrangelo, and Jonathan Marchessault. Knights head coach Peter DeBoer will coach the Pacific Division team.
On Sunday the NFL Pro Bowl will be played at Allegiant Stadium at noon. Fans can watch the two squads practice for free at the Las Vegas Ballpark today and Saturday. The NFC team practices at 10:45am today and 11:30am on Saturday. The AFC team practices at 12:15pm today and 10am on Saturday. The Raiders will be represented in the game by Maxx Crosby, Hunter Renfrow, A.J. Cole, and Denzel Perryman.
