Las Vegas Aces center Liz Cambage is leaving the team to sign with the L.A. Sparks. Cambage is an unrestricted free agent. Cambage is the second free agent to leave the Aces after Angel McCoughtry signed with Minnesota last week.

Star forward A’ja Wilson was a restricted free agent and resigned last week with the Aces.

The 6’8″ Cambage, a native of Australia, has been with the team since 2019. She sat out the 2020 “bubble” season due to health concerns but returned last season, playing in 25 games and helping the Aces to reach the WNBA semifinals. She averaged 15 points and almost nine rebounds a game during the 2019 and 2021 seasons and made the WNBA All Star team in both of those seasons.

No terms have been given on Cambage’s deal with L.A. which was reported Saturday night by ESPN.
