Kanye will no longer be performing at Coachella, TMZ reports.
The gossip site was first to report that the Donda rapper has dropped out of the Indio, Calif. festival set to start next weekend leaving Coachella without a headliner and fans without a performance from Travis Scott. This would have been the first time Scott would be performing since the Astroworld tragedy.
It’s unclear as to why Ye has decided to back out the festival but just recently a source close to the rapper revealed that West is trying to get some help for his mental health.
“For the sake of the kids, Kanye has told Kim he’s not making any public appearances or inflammatory social media statements, and he will go away somewhere to get better,” the source enclosed per Page Six.
The source added that it wasn’t clear if West will be going to a treatment facility as he wants to stay around his four children with Kardashian.
“At this time, Ye is committed to a healthy co-parenting relationship with Kim and is focused on raising their beautiful children,” the source said.
As of now, Harry Styles and Billie Eilish are the only headlining performers.
