The Las Vegas Raiders announced on Wednesday in an email to season ticket holders that wearing masks or being vaccinated against Covid will no longer be a requirement to attend Raiders home games this upcoming season.
In their first season at Allegiant Stadium in 2020 team owner Mark Davis decided to not have any fans attend home games due to the pandemic. Last season fans were allowed to attend home games but had to wear a mask or show proof of vaccination.
Season ticket holders who didn’t want to adhere to the mask and vaccination policies were allowed to either receive a refund or roll their tickets over to this season.
The Raiders averaged almost 62,000 paid fans per home game last season in the 65,000 seat Allegiant Stadium.
The team’s opponents for this coming season have been announced and the Raiders’ schedule will be released on May 17.
