Drake Teases An Upcoming Tour With 21 Savage

Author Autumn Hawkins
November 8th, 2022 1:14 PM

Following the release of Drake and 21 Savage’s joint album Her Loss, the Tornoto rapper teased that the two might be hitting the road soon.

On Drake’s podcast Table For One, he mentioned that a tour might be in the works. “I’m excited for tour,” Drizzy said. “It’s just another opportunity for me to be with my brother and just — I mean, s—, our set that night is gonna be dangerous.” 21 responded, “On God,” with Drake adding, “[Our setlist] is a tour within itself. A tour within a tour.”

However, fans of Drake and 21 might be a little skeptical that a tour might actually come about given the rapper’s mockery of an album rollout. The two pretended to grace the cover of Vogue and 21 did a faux Vogue “What’s In My Bag” segment.

Although the internet thought it was funny for them to have made a mockery of a traditional album rollout, Vogue reportedly did not. Condé Nast, the company that owns Vogue is reportedly suing the rappers for using their magazine for fake promotion for their album.

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ state that, Drake and 21 have been promoting Her Loss by posing on what resembles a real Vogue cover. The legal documents state that it led fans to believe the company would drop the special edition soon. Condé Nast refutes claims that a special edition of the magazine will feature the rappers and that the company “has not endorsed Her Loss in any way.” They claim that they have asked multiple times for all promos using the Vogue name to be taken down, but nothing’s been done.

Legal documents say that “the rappers falsely promoted the Vogue collab on social media, and put up posters of the ‘cover’ in major cities.” Condé Nast also claims that “Drake and 21’s teams sent out an email blast about ‘celebrating Drake’s Vogue cover’ saying that street teams across the country would even be handing out copies.”

Condé Nast wants the use of Vogue‘s name dropped immediately in promotion of their album and $4 million in damages, the tabloid reports.

Drake’s attorney, Larry Stein, has not commented publicly on the alleged lawsuit. 21’s team has not publicly made a comment either.
