Fashion Boutique Making A Positive Impact On Las Vegas
There is a local family-owned fashion boutique that is making a positive impact on so many lives. And this local Las Vegas business owner is keeping the community looking cute and feeling good about themselves. Sheneka Gunn, owner of 1Qtee Boutique, has fashion for all ages and sizes. Her unique style of apparel gets you ready for church, work, play, and/or the runway. This woman of God tells her story of how this successful business got started.
Fashion Boutique Changing Lives
Sheneka started modeling at a very young age so fashion has always been in her blood. The idea of being an entrepreneur was taught early as she watched her beautiful mother Debra Collins build her business called “Arceneaux Fashions” from the ground up. After years of providing that hard-to-find fashion for Las Vegas locals, her mom was faced with the decision of having to shut down due to health issues.
Sheneka said, “NO! I saw how hard my mom worked to build the business and change the negative mindset of those individuals who may have lacked self-confidence.” Sheneka also expressed how clothes that accent your outer beauty also enhance one’s confidence. And that motivated her even more to take over the fashion boutique business.

How 1Qtee Fashion Boutique Was Born
Sheneka wanted to change the name without compromising the identity and the brand that her mom worked so hard to build. She talked about how her biggest supporter and husband Dwight Gunn would call her “cutie.” That name sparked a fire and became the new name of the family business, 1Qtee Boutique.
She expressed how the business originally started in her garage, then her living room, to a small office space, and to where she is now which is a storefront. A year later, Sheneka became the owner of the new home.
What Does 1Qtee Fashion Boutique Have To Offer
1Qtee Boutique specializes in all-size fashion for men and women. When I asked Sheneka who her biggest clientele was, she said, “I would like to say it’s my plus size clients. They are the ones that love my apparel and my mature customers as well.” She always provides something youthful, something spunky, and definitely something sexy yet classy.
Shopping for clothes should be an experience. You should be excited to wear the clothes that best fit you and your style, states Gunn. According to timesofindia.com, “garments we wear have the power to influence our emotions and actions.” When I was younger, I couldn’t wait to go back to school after school shopping. Showing off my new clothes enhanced my swag.

On December 3, 2018, Lil Nas X released the country rap song “Old Town Road” online for free when he was 19. He bought the beat for the song anonymously on a beat-selling platform called BeatStars for $30. The song samples Nine Inch Nails’ 2008 track, “34 Ghosts IV.” The song that gave him superstardom was recorded at a “humble” Atlanta studio on their “$20 Tuesdays,” taking less than an hour!
To promote the track, LNX made over one hundred memes that went viral on TikTok as part of a #Yeehaw Challenge. Millions of users posted videos of themselves dressed as a wrangler or cowgirl, with most #yeehaw videos using “Old Town Road” as the song for their clips. When LNX wrangled himself country legend Billy Ray Cyrus on the remix version of the track, he was the “only country dude” he knew because of Hannah Montana.
Since then, LNX has become a hero among the queer community, an award-winning artist, and one of the most influential people in the world.
