Coldplay Singer Chris Martin Gives Surprise Performance At Famous Las Vegas Dive Bar
The lead singer of Coldplay, Chris Martin, shocked dive bar attendees this past weekend when the famous singer pulled an epic prank on the crowd.
Dino’s Lounge is an adored dive bar. It’s one of those “hole-in-the-wall” gems that has the best characteristics of a perfect dive bar: darkness, a kicking karaoke night and amazing locals who use this spot as their constant watering hole.
It’s constantly on lists for “best bars” in Las Vegas, and every local has found themselves at Dino’s one night or another.
Over the weekend, bar attendees were shocked when a famous singer “pranked” the audience during a karaoke session.

Martin was in town because he performed for the iHeartMusic Festival. According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Dino’s owner, Kristen Bartolo, said Live Nation reps and downtown officials contacted her about Martin’s surprise appearance.
When the singer arrived to Dino’s on Saturday night, he was wearing a “disguise.” According to the Review-Journal, he wore a tan suit, a short bow tie, glasses, and a blondish wig. To add to the peculiar nature of his outfit, he was also holding a red balloon.

Martin sang a karaoke version of Coldplay’s new song “All My Love.” Billboard reports that Martin seemed to sway “nervously on stage as people chatter in the background and occasionally whoop at the singerās performance.” He then called a woman to the stage and handed off the balloon he was holding.
After getting through his special karaoke performance, Martin said the famous live, “Dino’s forever.” Then, he whipped off his wig and shredded his glasses, shocking the crowd with his real identity.
The crowd was ecstatic and faces showed grins of shocking reactions. It was truly a fun moment and even Martin had a cheeky grin while unveiling his real self to the crowd. Bartolo said this “performance” was planned, but she didn’t tell anyone including the staff, the Review-Journal reports.
This was a lovely surprise and shows another glimmering reason why anything can happen in Las Vegas.
