Big West Basketball Championships Coming to Henderson’s Lee’s Family Forum in 2025
The 2025 NCAA Big West Basketball Championships are set to take over Lee’s Family Forum in Henderson, Nevada, from Mar. 12 to Mar. 15. The championships will bring together 16 men’s and women’s teams in a battle for an automatic bid to the NCAA Division I Basketball Tournaments, known as March Madness. With high-stakes matchups and a competitive field, this year’s tournament is expected to deliver thrilling action and unforgettable moments.
Big West Commissioner Dan Butterly emphasized the importance of keeping the tournament in Henderson, saying, “The Big West membership unanimously agreed that remaining at Lee’s Family Forum provides the best championships opportunity for The Big West and our women’s and men’s basketball programs. In the end, there is simply no other venue or location that offers a more ideal combination of a first-class facility, state-of-the-art amenities, affordability and endless lodging, shopping, dining and entertainment options.”
Games will be played at noon and 6 p.m. from Mar. 12 to 14, culminating in the championship at 3 p.m. on Mar. 15. The tournament is still an inexpensive and rewarding spectacle for college hoops spectators. Bringing this event to Henderson is another example of how Southern Nevada is establishing itself as a world-class destination for collegiate athletics and a location that can truly deliver sports and entertainment.
