The dynamic duo of Robbie Landis and Ben Morse are back once again for another episode of the Other Identity. The Other Identity is a podcast dedicated to exploring the culture birthed by comic books. This week The Great Landis and Professor Awesome spend the episode talking about the Marvel Cinematic Universe. What heroes from Marvel Comics are better in the MCU than on the pages.
It’s been over a month since the quarantine was put in place and Ben is feeling it. Robbie, on the other hand, is having trouble keeping track of time. They both explain what they’ve been doing during the last week of quarantine. Robbie also talks about what really makes comics special and a few issues in DCs Rebirth Era that demonstrates it.
Robbie and Ben are currently on DC Comics reading challenges. Ben, along with Arune Singh, is reading through Reign of the Supermen for the #ReadoftheSupermen. While Robbie and Ben are making their way through the entire collection of the Rebirth Era in the #DCRebirthEraChallenge. Join them and add to the discussion on their twitter pages.
For their discussion about the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Robbie poses a question. What Marvel Comics characters are portrayed better in the MCU? While their answers don’t need to come from just Marvel, most of them do. They also discuss which movies from the MCU are underrated and deserve more praise. Robbie and Ben share some similar beliefs, but there are also a few reasons for concern. Robbie puts a very hot take out there and Ben doesn’t know what to say.
