The national coalition will be hosting their 16 Annual Madam C.J. Walker Awards Luncheon to properly celebrate the Black women in Las Vegas, who’ve empowered, impacted and helped the community.

This annual fundraising luncheon is held in honor of Madam C.J. Walker, who was one of the earliest Black millionaires.
According to the Madam C.J. Walker website, “Madam Walker is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the first self-made American woman millionaire, who neither inherited her money or married someone who was a millionaire.”
This fundraiser will be honoring 10 women in our Vegas community, who’ve made an impact through leadership and economic empowerment.
