Our midday rockstar, Picazzo stopped by Manuel Cortez Elementary School located at 2445 East Tonopah Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89115, to help hand out 1,000 free turkeys and sides fixings to Las Vegas families. The Clark County School District Police Department and Lerner and Rowe Injury Attorneys set up a drive-thru Turkey-Thon to help give back to families during the holiday season.
The event was non-contact. We asked families to remain in their vehicles and to open their trunks and side doors to allow volunteers to easily place items inside. Only one Thanksgiving turkey meal was handed out per vehicle, on a first-come, first-serve basis while supplies lasted.
Thank you to all 1,000 families that came out. We hope you have a wonderful dinner and a happy holiday season.
