Today marks the eight week of my fitness journey. And boy, it’s been an adventure. My healthy habits have become a lifestyle at this point, and I’ve learned a lot along the way. It’s all about having discipline and determination. I have a long way to go but I am so excited that my body is craving a better lifestyle. I am really into numbers and the number 8 means a new beginning. This new lifestyle journey has truly become a new beginning for me. Hard work pays off. you might not see it right away, but I definitely feel the difference.
Being healthy is a decision. And it’s one of the best decisions I have ever made. A wise man once told me that if you do something for 21 days it becomes a habit. I can attest to that . I am on a whole new program. From the fuel I put in my body, the work out sessions and the much needed rest, all have become a habit. I am excited for a healthy future. It’s only been 8 weeks and I have come a long way. It’s not easy to stay committed to what your body needs instead of what you think it wants. Don’t get me wrong I still have fun and unhealthy snacks from time to time, I call it a tasty treat that I award myself. I started treating myself once every 3 days, to once a week. and substituting those unhealthy snacks with something that’s healthy and tasty is even better. Portion control is a must. control how much you eat and you’ll find it easier to resist the temptation of going backwards.
