JAMMIN’ 105.7 PRESENTS JAM-ATHON
Online Concert Benefits Salvation Army Of Southern Nevada
Beasley Media Group’s Jammin’ 105.7 presents Jam-Athon sponsored by Animal Kingdom, a star-studded online show that will combine music and comedy in order to entertain Las Vegans and raise money for the Salvation Army Of Southern Nevada. Jam-Athon takes place this Saturday, May 23rd, beginning at 5 pm.
Among the music luminaries performing are Keith Sweat, En Vogue’s Maxine Jones, CeCe Peniston, Lisa Lisa, Grammy-winning Pastor Donnie McClurkin, Dru Hill’s Sisqo, Tony Terry, Shanice Wilson, Cameo’s Larry Blackman, Az Yet’s Marc Nelson, Tierra, Rob Base, Gary “Lil G” Jenkins, DJ Kool, and Troop’s Jon Jon.
Comic relief will also be provided by a lineup of comedians including Jammin’105.7 morning host Steve Harvey, Vegas comedy legend George Wallace, Jammin’ Jay Lamont, Chris Thomas, and Nephew Tommy & J. Anthony Brown from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
Describing the event, Jammin’ 105.7 Program Director & Midday Personality, Paco Lopez said: “During this Covid-19 pandemic, we knew Jammin’ 105.7 had to do something for our community. We decided to partner with the Salvation Army, which does so much for Las Vegans. We reached out to our celebrity friends and they felt the same way, and rallied together with us, and Jam-Athon was born!”
Az Yet singer Marc Nelson said: “As Jammin’ 105.7 is my favorite station, I am so honored to be a part of this amazing event! We are all going through a very hard time rediscovering this world. Thank you God that music is the only universal language that lifts the spirit.”
The Salvation Army’s Leslee Rogers added: “We at The Salvation Army Southern Nevada are so appreciative of the efforts of Paco Lopez, his team at Jammin’ 105.7 and all of the amazing artists and celebrities who are making this concert possible. The people we serve will be helped beyond measure as all the funds raised will stay right here in our community to serve our neighbors in need.”
