Founded by the American Licorice Company in 2015, today we celebrate those mouth-puckering fruit flavors that make our eyes water.

Las Vegas is home to dozens of amazing candy stores such as the highly recognized M&M’s Chocolate World and Hershey’s Chocolate World but today is about SOUR CANDY.

One hidden little gem is Chumlee’s Candy on the Blvd. located at 725 South Las Vegas Blvd. next to the iconic Gold & Silver Pawn Shop seen on A&E Network’s “Pawn Stars” featuring Rick Harrison, The Old Man, Corey Harrison, and Chumlee Russell.  It’s one of the smaller candy stores on the list but a must-visit if you’re touring the pawn shop or stopping in for lunch at Rick’s Rollin’ Smoke BBQ located just steps away.

Downtown Container Park is a dining and entertainment shopping center that has something for the entire family including one of the coolest little candy stores around, The Sugar Shop. Located in the heart of downtown at 707 Fremont Street on the corner of Fremont and 7th Street. Just look for the 40-foot tall Mantis. This store has some of the coolest sour candy varieties around including huge canisters of Extreme Sour Hard Candy  Warheads that are taller than your toddler.

At the other end of Fremont Street is the California Hotel & Casino which is home to another cozy candy store called Vegas 808. Once inside, take the escalator up to the second floor then hang a right. You’ll be amazed by all of the delicious sour candy options.

Go big or go home. I Love Sugar is a gigantic 14,000 square foot two-story behemoth at 3545 South Las Vegas Blvd. at The Linq Hotel & Experience. The first floor is home to gigantic gummy bears and an enormous variety of colorful candy while the second floor is dedicated to chocolate lovers including a candy-infused martini bar for the adults.

The trendy candy and novelty store It’s Sugar has five locations throughout Las Vegas so you’re never far from the good stuff. Find them at the Venetian Grand Canal Shops, the Grand Bazar, Town Square, Fashion Show Mall, and Downtown Summerlin.

Have a happy Sour Candy Day and don’t forget to brush later!
