Word of advice, explore all of the Disneyland Resort Festival of Holidays options first, then plan which food you want to eat as their are many flavorful options.

  • Holiday Duets

Menu Items: Southern Mac ‘n Cheese, Pork Belly Adobo and Ceylon Splash

    Disney Festival of Holidays

The Pork Belly Adobo was salty and sweet. Each bite of the tender meat melted in your mouth making it easy to consume. The garlic fired rice was a nice pairing as it help soaked up the adobo sauce and juices from the meat. The green onion was a nice crunch breaking up the meat and grain pairing. The sandwich was handheld making it the perfect candidate for an Instagram photoshoot.

  • Grandma's Recipes

Menu Items: Impossible Meatloaf and Mashed Potatoes, Pumpkin Layered Cheesecake and Blood Orange-Pom Limeade

    Disney Festival of Holidays

The Pumpkin Layered Cheesecake was anything but disappointing. There were layers of New York cheesecake, Pumpkin gooey cake, graham cracker topped with spiced Chantilly and chocolate decorations.

For those who may not know, Chantilly tends to be very sweet and is a combination of whipped cream and vanilla.  The pie-shaped handheld cheesecake was cutely decorated with red and green sprinkles for the holidays. The pumpkin was scrumptious and very light. The Chantilly gave the cheesecake an extra kick of sweet acting very similar to a whipped cream. If you craving something sweet, use one of your coupons on this delicate menu item.

  • Brews & Bites

    Menu Items: Chorizo Queso Fundido

    Disney Festival of Holidays

It is the only menu item offered at the Brews & Bites stand but don’t let that sway your option. The cheese speaks for itself.  Impossible Chorizo Queso Fundido is a small bowl of queso topped with chorizo, chopped cilantro and served with house-made tortilla chips. Honestly, one of the best cheese dishes to eat. The cheese pulls were very real packing a very strong bite. The chorizo was crumbly with a light spice taste which was easy to scoop. The house-made tortilla chips were greasy to touch and just the way we like them. Definitely a recommend.

    Disney Festival of Holidays

  • Winter Sliderland

Menu Items: Holiday Ham Slider, Brisket Slider and Cherry-Mango Punch

    Disney Festival of Holidays

If you appreciate brisket in any form this is the slider for you. The Brisket Slider was juicy and overflowing with onions and horseradish ketchup. The onions were sautéed well and the pretzel bun brought the salty dough component to hold the slider together. The horseradish ketchup was not overwhelming hot and provided just enough kick to wake you up.

  • A Twist On Tradition

Menu Items: Curry Mac ‘n Cheese, Lox & Everything Bagel Nachos and Guava Melon Lassi

    Disney Festival of Holidays

The Curry Mac ‘n Cheese not only looked pretty but brought the warmth that every mac ‘n cheese should make you feel. The portion came with cilantro oil and crispy garbanzos. We want to state that the cilantro oil was not overwhelming and complimented cheese with a nice herbal taste. The garbanzos were salted and crunchy mashing well with the gooey cheesy noodles. This dish was a winner and a must try.
