Have you considered purchasing an electric car?
With gas prices continuing to rise, many of us are doing just that! But with so many choices… Who has the best price, and the best mileage per charge, and equipment? Why are electric vehicles so popular today?
What started with the Toyota Prius and the Tesla is moving in the direction of new electric car companies like Lucid and Polestar. Also, many of the car companies that we know and love have electric car offerings this year like Mercedes, BMW, Hyundai, Volkswagen and Ford just to name a few.
Why is this happening? According to Forbes article from 2021. President Joe Biden officially signed the bipartisan infrastructure bill, including a $5 billion investment in state-administered grants for deploying electric vehicle (EV) charging stations nationwide. Long story short, most vehicles on the road will be electric by 2035. And right now, you can save money on gas and receive cash incentives to drive an electric vehicle.
My personal favorite electric vehicle from 2016 to 2022 has been the Tesla Model S.
BUT now there is a new rival in town! It is the LUCID Aire, and it is an Electric Luxury Sedan just hitting the market in 2022. According to Carbuzz.com, the 2022 Lucid Air is the next big step forward in the EV evolution.
The Tesla Model S carried the torch for an entire decade, but it now has to hand it over to a car designed by the same man. Lucid’s CEO was the main engineer behind the Model S, which makes the Air a spiritual successor of sorts. But to me, it’s just SOOOOOO PRETTY!
