We’re only four months into 2023, but one website already has the tally for what will likely be the most popular baby names of the year in Nevada.

Names.org has conducted research based on current trends to see which baby names will be the most popular this year. Some of them are familiar, while others are no. When it comes to baby names, Nevada can be pretty traditional.

“When we think about Nevada it’s hard not to think about casinos and money,” Names.org states. “Nevada is known as the “Silver State” and the nation’s largest silver deposit was located there, but it is also the largest gold-producing state in the U.S. and fourth largest gold-producer in the world. Parents in Nevada, who think their children are as valuable as gold, choose unique names for their children. You’ll find Giovanni and Sebastian on lists of boy names and Camila and Genesis on lists of girl names.”

Personally, I prefer simple names: Mark, John, Mary. Maybe that sounds boring, but I like it. Most of the names on this list I do like. Sometimes, I feel like people are just trying too hard when they come up with really wild names, but to each their own! Read on for what are projected to be the most popular baby names in the state for 2023. Find the full list here.
