In recent sports news, there has been changes with the Las Vegas Raiders! Fans, coaches and the every day bar drinker are noticing and loving the updates. New interim head coach, Antonio Pierce, has already improved the energy in the locker room as well as in the stands. Less “boos” during game time is fantastic. Raider Nation is on a high with the new members of the silver and black that even our home stadium parking lots are filling back up! Tailgating is once again fun and full of Raider pride.
If you’ve never been to a silver and black tailgate, this is definitely the time to go. Fans line up as early as 7 a.m. to get a prime spot to show off their raider-themed memorabilia. Allegiant Stadium offers multiple lots to pull out the grills, tents and all of the extras that make tailgating fun and exciting.
According to Allegiantstadium.com, onsite lots are A, B, C, E, F, G, H & J and offsite lots are S, V, W, X, Z. From my experience, Lot J is the “Big Boys Lot” and if you know, you know.
This is truly the lot where new comers and longtime fans come together to celebrate our Raiders. Lot J features the hardcore with decked out costumes, entertaining live bands and the largest Raider Nation party in Vegas. The walkways are so packed that attendees can barely walk through. Each tent has something special going on.
So if you are new to tailgating you might want to try one of the offsite lots to get the hang of things first. Lot S is directly across the street from the south entrance of the stadium which is very convenient if you are actually going to the game. Remember to bring plenty of food fun and that Raider Nation energy.
Since Antonio Pierce took over as interim head coach after the Raiders fired former head coach Josh McDaniels, the “Silver and Black” pride is returning! The Raiders winning their first two games has given fans something to celebrate. Raider fans will always feel like this, “Win, Lose, Or Tie…Raider Nation til I die!”
