Do you have a playlist for childbirth? Well, Usher does.
During an appearance on the “Ellen DeGeneres Show,” Usher admitted that he spent two weeks creating the perfect playlist for his son’s birth.
“I came fully equipped,” the singer said. “I had my Mophie, I had speakers, I had back-up batteries.”
After outlining his checklist when it came to being the DJ of labor, Usher bashfully said that 50 Cent’s “In The Club” played while his son Sire Castrello Raymond was being delivered.
This type of article isn’t a peculiar one for the artist, who’s often the victim of inaccurate or tabloid-like headlines. Last April, rumors were spreading around social media, alleging that Usher threw counterfeit money in a Las Vegas club.
According to social media users, the “My Boo” singer distributed money with his face on it rather than real dollar bills. However, Reuters fact checked these claims and deemed them as false.
The club’s management also told Reuters that the “fake” bills were used to promote his Vegas residency, and Usher tipped the staff generously.
Despite this misunderstanding, Vegas still loves Usher!
From July through October, you’ll have the chance to relive your 2000s R&B dream with his brand new Las Vegas residency. This residency will take place at Dolby Live, which is located in Park MGM Las Vegas.
