Parallel Parking Eliminated From Nevada DMV Driving Exam
The local DMV Gods have answered driver’s prayers when it comes to taking the driving exam and parallel parking.
The Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles have taken out what many consider one of the most intimidating parts of the driving exam, the parallel parking portion.
According to DMV officials the new change
went into effect January 13, 2020, and the change is expected to cut down on revisits to the DMV and release alot of stress for many drivers who struggle with being able to parallel park.
DMV officials believe this change makes the driving tests safer while still maintaining the integrity of the mission of putting safe drivers on the road.
Nevada joins a number of other states, including California, Colorado and Florida that have eliminated parallel parking from their driving skills exams.
