Raiders Win Preseason Opener
The Las Vegas Raiders won their preseason opener on Saturday 20-7 over Seattle before a sellout crowd at Allegiant Stadium. Nathan Peterman played the entire game at quarterback for the Raiders and finished 29 of 39 passing for 246 yards with one interception. The Raiders scored a TD on their opening drive, marching 83 yards on 14 plays capped of by a one yard touchdown plunge on fourth down by Trey Ragas. The Raiders played primarily second and third stringers throughout the entire game as did Seatttle. Raiders starting QB Derek Carr was purposely held out of the game and backup QB Marcus Mariota didn’t play due to injury. The game was the Raiders only home preseason game. Their next game is this Saturday against the Rams at 7pm at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood.
