The Las Vegas Aces are in action tonight at home against Chicago at 7pm at Michelob Ultra Arena at Mandalay Bay but they will be without the services of star center Liz Cambage who has tested positive for Covid-19.
Cambage is vaccinated and is experiencing mild symptoms and is now in the WNBA’s health and safety protocol until she is cleared to return to play.
The Aces have overtaken Seattle for first place in the Western Conference with a record of 19-7, a full two games ahead of the Storm. Vegas trails only Connecticut for the best record in the league.
The WNBA season is winding down and after tonight’s game the Aces have five games left in the regular season. Vegas plays three of its’ final five games on the road. The Aces have already clinched a playoff berth but want to hold on to at least the number two seed to get a double bye when the playoffs begin.
