Raiders Slide Continues
The Las Vegas Raiders lost their third game in a row on Sunday, falling 32-13 to the Cincinnati Bengals at Allegiant Stadium.
The Raiders played lackluster on both sides of the ball, struggling on offense and unable to contain Cincinnati running back Joe Mixon on defense. Mixon carried the ball 30 times for 123 yards and two touchdowns.
Unfortunately, the Raiders losing streak seems to coincide with the teams recent off the field problems, specifically the loss of former wide receiver Henry Ruggs III, who is facing DUI charges after an October car crash that killed a young woman. Without the speedy Ruggs who was coming into his own in his second year, the Raiders seem unable to mount a downfield passing attack. Vegas signed veteran wide receiver DeSean Jackson but he has yet to make an impact.
The loss dropped the Raiders to 5-5 on the season and it doesn’t get any easier as the team will travel to Dallas to face the Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day.
