McDonald’s Offering Free Egg McMuffins Today

McDonald's has declared March 2 "National Egg McMuffin Day" and to celebrate they are giving away free Egg McMuffins. The free Egg McMuffins will be available from 6:00am-10:30am local time, and in order to redeem the offer customers must make their order from the McDonald's mobile app. McDonald's officials said in a press release that the day is intended to celebrate the "best" fast food breakfast sandwich as it is also turning 50 this year. But it's likely not a coincidence that it is the same day Wendy's takes its eagerly anticipated breakfast menu nationwide.
