Is LeBron James Being Overlooked For The MVP Trophy?
LeBron James continues to make it look easy at the ripe age of 33.
If the NBA playoffs were to start right now LeBron’s Cavaliers would be sitting in the three seed, a place that LeBron does not have any experience in, but if you ask LeBron he will tell you, that doesn’t t matter.
Last night LeBron and the Cavs took on the first place Raptors at Quicken Loans Arena. Even with the Raptors scoring a franchise record 79 points in the first half, LeBron once again proved to everyone just why he is the best player on earth.
The Cavs stormed back to score 68 points in the second half while holding the Raptors to only 50, and that’s not even the best part.
LeBron put on a show scoring 35 points and dropping 17 dime while committing ZERO turnovers. Some people may not understand the difficulty of committing zero turnovers while posting 17 assists while scoring 30+ points, but to put it into perspective, it has NEVER happened since turnovers were first recorded in 77-78.
LeBron has heated up the MVP talks averaging 27 points, 9 assists, and 8.7 rebounds in his 15 season in the league. People have the likes of James Harden, Anthony Davis, DeMar DeRozan among people leading the race, but if you ask me, LeBron is doing something that he should not be doing at 33.
It is almost like we are used to seeing LeBron do these things that they don’t surprise us anymore, which is ridiculous. He is carrying a team and posting impossible numbers in the process.

The thing is, LeBron doesn’t care about the MVP trophy, he wants rings, but will he get one this year? The Houston Rockets are playing insane basketball, Golden State is well, Golden State, and even the Raptor and Celtics have a better record than the Cavs.
I guess only time will tell, in the mean time, just enjoy the performances that LeBron James is blessing us with even if it’s during the regular season.
