Black History Moment: Remembering Rose Marie McCoy
Jammin’ 105.7 and DJ Thump take today to honor the life and legacy of Rose Marie McCoy.
She was a notable songwriter during the 1950s that wrote for big artists like Elvis Presley, Big Maybelle and Big Joe Turner. McCoy wrote Elvis’ Trying To Get To You.
McCoy passed away on January 20th, 2015, at the age of 92.
