Waka Waka! Pac-Man Sets Record On Resorts World Screen

The cool thing about Generation X and elder Millennials becoming old enough to run things is we get to do fun stuff. For example, somehow Resorts World Las Vegas used their massive 100,000 square foot screen on the side of their building to play Pac-Man last night. The 8-bit excitement took place as part of the Esports Awards that were held at the resort November 29th and 30th (yeah, we didn't know either). The event shines a spotlight on the players, creators and companies that make gaming possible. How did Pac-Man look on the Resorts World screen? On Thursday night, they decided to go out with a bang. The show posted a video to YouTube that didn't garner much attention saying they would have a "record breaking" post show event that would take place at 5pm Las Vegas time. Pac-Man is chomping away in his two and a half story glory. Waka waka-ing, munching on pellets and occasionally hunting down Inky, Blinky, Pinky and Clyde. Those are the names of the ghosts in the game. The people behind the controllers are a bit unlikely. WWE Superstars "The Man" Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair took to the joystick for the game. In the end, Becky Lynch took the win. Now that we've got this record down, it is time to use the other screens in Las Vegas to our advantage. Give us Arkanoid at Fremont Street Experience VivaVision. Give us Super Mario Bros on the Sphere. Heck we would settle for Golden Tee on the new screens at Durango Resort.
