Jammin’ 105.7 honors and supports Martin Luther King Day. We are celebrating the 40th Annual King Week.
The Dr. MLK Tech Summit and Annual Parade will be *LIVE* in Downtown Las Vegas. The parade is part of local King Week events, which include the Martin Luther King Jr. Technology Summit, two church services, the Young Dreamers Awards Program and the MLK Scholarship Awards Banquet with keynote speaker Dr. Chanel Wilson. The Theme is “Living The dream, Setting new Standards.” Thousands of participants to include High School Marching Bands/Drill Teams, JROTC, Car Clubs, Fraternities/Sororities and Community Organizations will gather and march down 4th Street in the beautiful downtown Las Vegas to help keep Dr. Kings dream alive. This year will mark 40 years of celebrating the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Dj Thump has been involved in the Dr. martin Luther King Jr. Parade for 15 years and each year it continues to get bigger and better. It’s so great to see the las Vegas community getting involved and coming together. Dj Thump loves the parade because, “It shows how all ethnicities, old and young can come together for one cause.” it’s so exciting to see the smiles and cheers as each organization pass through the judges station.
Save the date. the week-long festivities starting on January 12, 2022! The Nevada Help Desk Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Technology Summit will be hosted in person on Friday, January 14th, 2022.
The 40th Annual Parade will be hosted on January 17, 2022 in Downtown Las Vegas beginning at 10am
