After a small hiatus, Disneyland Resort has worked overtime to bring back Pixar Fest! Nothing says “Pixar” like fun, vibrant treats that animate your taste buds! Courtesy of the Disneyland Resort, I had the opportunity to celebrate the return of Pixar Fest this past weekend and try some of these deliciously themed bites!

From “The Incredibles” to “Inside Out”, Pixar has produced 27 captivating featured films since the debut of “Toy Story” in 1995. Disneyland Park and Disney’s California Adventure Park have brought some of our favorite Pixar films to life through food, beverages, and other delectable treats – which you can find all throughout both parks!

Pixar Fest feels like a Pixar Feast!

During Pixar Fest, you can dig into a plate of the new Cosmic Chili Pasta or you can even snack on a fan favorite Alien Macarooooon, inspired by “Toy Story”. Both can be found at Alien Pizza Planet and will leave you feeling out of this world! You can even grab an Eye Scream Cone, inspired by Mike Wazowski from “Monsters, Inc.”, to enjoy during the “Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular,” fireworks show inside Disneyland Park!

At Disney’s California Adventure Park, you can find foods inspired by more recent films like “Soul” and “Elemental” represented at The Marketplaces! Each Marketplace is dedicated to a different Pixar film and even has a cute, punny name! At Elemental Table Marketplace inspired by “Elemental”, you can enjoy the “Smoked Fire Wood” BBQ-spiced IMPOSSIBLE Chicken, inclusive plant-based dietary option. Plus, at Hanger Management Marketplace inspired by “Inside Out”, the Mood Stabilizer Mule will wash all your worries away with a splash of Bourbon and watermelon liqueur.Eating at Marketplaces isn’t just biting into great food, it’s like taking a step right into the world of your favorite Pixar characters!

Check out the Disney Eats: Pixar Foodie Guide!

Visiting patrons can experience Pixar films in a whole new light from now until August 4th, 2024. Disney knows nothing pairs with fond memories quite like unforgettable foods! Below you can check out all the fantastic eats I tried during my trip.

  • Sea Monster Friends Parfait Inspired by "Luca"

Sea Monster Friends Parfait Inspired by none other than our favorite sea monster friends in Luca, this parfait was my favorite desert! From a graham cracker crust, to mascarpone cheesecake, to blue gelatin and a delicious Chantilly cream that will leave your mouth blue, this treat was layered to perfection!

  • Una Papa Loca! Inspired by "Coco"

Una Papa Loca! The first bite was so heavenly, I could hear Miguel singing “Remember me”! In all seriousness, I could not forget this scrumptious and filling bite.. and so much that I got another one the next day! Packed with chicken al pastor, cheese, sour cream, avocado salsa and topped with a spiced corn crumble, you can find this delicious treat at The Troubadour Tavern in Fantasyland.

  • Fergus Fizz inspired by “Brave”

Fergus FizzThis drink was the perfect combination of refreshing and invigorating! The combination of cranberry and raspberry mix paired Sprite was sensational. Plus, the butterscotch topper and granola crumbles added the perfect amount of creaminess and crunch.

  • “Silenzio Bruno!” Sandwich inspired by “Luca”

    “Silenzio Bruno!” Sandwich

This sandwich captured the essence of Italian cuisine! It was light enough for a lunch between rides, but heavy enough to keep you satiated until dinner time! Served with crispy, house made chips, this sandwich is filled with pepperoni, chopped ham, salami, lettuce, provolone, tomato, and pepperoncini with Italian dressing… delizioso!

  • Gusteau Macaron Inspired by "Ratatouille"

    Gusteau Macaron

Macarons are hard to get right, but this treat straight from “Ratatouille’s” Gusteau himself is free from imperfections! I was especially excited to try this dessert because I’m not a huge fan of chocolate. With a caramel center surrounded by a crème brûlée mousse, your first bite will make your taste buds say “oui, oui!”

  • Red Panda Bao Inspired by "Turning Red"

    Red Panda Bao

Between the cutest themed colors to the impressive level of spice, this bao is in my top 5 bites from the trip! Filled with pork and vegetables and served with a side of chile-garlic sauce, I think The Aunties gave their approval to these jumbo baos before they left the kitchen!

  • Jack-Jack Shortbread Cookie Inspired by "The Incredibles"

    Jack-Jack Shortbread Cookie

Here’s a desert to give you super powers – or make you bounce off the walls! The chocolate topped shortbread cookie is a divine, and sharable, option for a quick treat! Plus, it features our favorite unconventional duo, Jack-Jack and Edna Mode, in a chocolate coin!
