Tyler Perry Pays For Groceries For Elderly At 73 Stores
Tyler Perry has been doing several good deeds since the coronavirus pandemic began. As reported, the actor recently tipped $21,000 to staff members at a restaurant in Atlanta who were out of work. Now he is lending a helping hand again.
People reports that Tyler paid for the groceries off all the elderly shoppers in 44 Kroger stores in Atlanta, Georgia, and 29 Winn Dixie stores in New Orleans during their reserved shopping hour. A source told the outlet, “He wanted to do something special to provide immediate relief for some of the most vulnerable in the two cities he considers home.” Perry currently lives in Georgia, and Louisiana is his hometown state.
An anonymous donor bought all of the groceries for every single senior citizen shopping during their special hour for elderly folks at the Toco Hills Kroger this morning.
