Jam-Athon 2020 with News 3 Krystal Allan
Krystal Allan joined the News 3 Team in March 2011. She co-anchors “Wake Up With the CW” from 7 to 9 a.m. and “News 3 Live at Noon.” You can catch her breaking news reports, every weekday morning, on “News 3 Today.”
Krystal is a proud 2006 graduate of the Missouri School of Journalism. Go Mizzou! Krystal started her career on the Gulf Coast as a weekend anchor/reporter in Biloxi, MS.
While there, Krystal covered incredible stories of resilience and heartache following two major disasters, Hurricane Katrina and the BP oil spill.
Krystal started as an education reporter at News 3. The daughter of two educators, she lends her time and talents to organizations championing children and education.
She loves volunteering in local schools and working with organizations like Communities In Schools, the Village Foundation, and the National Coalition of 100 Black Women. Beyond the classroom, Krystal has worked with the local chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in its tireless efforts to educate the public and end MS.
Born and raised in the Midwest, she feels blessed to use the speaking gifts she honed at her childhood church to serve the Las Vegas community.
Hard work and humility, she says, is her motto and what guides her each day.
