North Las Vegas Father & Son Raise Money For Front-Line Workers By Selling Custom Greeting Cards
Weeks after the reopening of Las Vegas, citizens are still doing their part in giving back to front-line workers.
9-year-old Zakariyus Ford and his dad Derek Ford in North Las Vegas are raising money for front-line workers by selling creating custom greeting cards, according to KTNV News 13.
Hospital workers, grocery store workers and anyone on the front lines are tributed in their greeting cards. Proceeds are used to purchase personal protective equipment for workers.
Derek and son Zakariyus teamed up by using Derek’s company Haha Cards.
“Kind of nice doing that because I noticed that anybody could make a difference,” said Zakariyus.
