Lori Harvey Claps Back On ‘Lack Of Chemistry’ Comment With Damson Idris
Lori Harvey and Damson Idris have only been publicly dating for a little over a month but already have haters in the comments over analyzing their relationship. Harvey is known for her nonchalant approach to dealing with internet trolls but recently she had some time.
“No chemistry. Look how far apart they’re standing lol,” a user commented on The Shade Room’s post of the two at Idris’ Snowfall season six red carpet premiere.
“Or maybe I just had on body makeup and told him don’t stand too close to me because I didn’t want to get it on his suit lol y’all try to find a problem with everything,” Harvey shot back.
Idris and Harvey made their relationship official on the latter’s birthday, Jan. 13. The two celebrated her birthday in West Hollywood at Lavo Ristorante. Idris uploaded photos of the two on his Instagram Story captioning an affectionate pic, “Happy birthday, nunu.”
Harvey was previously in a relationship with actor Michael B. Jordan. He jokingly spoke about their breakup during his opening monologue for Saturday Night Live.
“Most people after a breakup are like, ‘I’m going to get in better shape.’ But I was already in Creed shape!” he continued, referencing the upcoming boxing film he directed and stars in. “So I had to be like, ‘All right, I guess I’ll learn a new language.’ Anyway, estoy en Raya.”
The two broke it off after a year and a half of dating back in June 2022. The Creed III star recently opened up to CBS Mornings’ Gayle King about their split.
“I think for me it’s just, I was lucky enough to have a lot of work. I’m a firm believer in ‘what’s for you is for you,’ and coming out of that situation—not to give it, you know, any energy and kind of move from that—is, you know, it was an experience for me to grow and learn,” Jordan revealed.
