Plaza Hotel Downtown Plans New Years Eve Fireworks

The Plaza Hotel and Casino in downtown Las Vegas has announced that it will hold a New Years Eve fireworks show. Hotel officials say that all health and safety protocols will be followed. The hotel will also work with the city to close off portions of Main Street so spectators can view the fireworks, which will be visible throughout the downtown area. The downtown fireworks show will give residents and visitors something to look forward to on New Years Eve as there will not be a fireworks show on the Strip this year.
Syd "Mr. Syd" Gaddy is the midday host, 10am-2pm on KOAS, "Jammin’ 1057." Syd has been with Beasley for 10 years and just last September was inducted into the Nevada Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame. "Mr. Syd" has been in the broadcast industry for over 24 years working as on-air talent, public service announcement coordinator and as a program director. Syd is a sports fanatic and works part time for the local Vegas newspaper in the high school sports department and loves to focus his posts on local Vegas sports teams and happenings.
