Shock G Of Digital Underground Found Dead
Shock G, the frontman of the hip hop group Digital Underground, was found dead on Thursday at a hotel in Tampa, FL. He was 57 years old. The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Dept. confirmed his death and no cause of death has been given yet. Shock G’s real name was Gregory Edward Jacobs and he was best known for his “Humpty Hump” persona, complete with dark rimmed glasses, a fake nose and a fur hat as he rapped the lyrics to Digital Undergrounds biggest hit, “The Humpty Dance.” More on this story as details become available.

Syd has been with Beasley for 10 years and just last September was inducted into the Nevada Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame. "Mr. Syd" has been in the broadcast industry for over 24 years working as on-air talent, public service announcement coordinator and as a program director. Syd is a sports fanatic and works part time for the local Vegas newspaper in the high school sports department and loves to focus his posts on local Vegas sports teams and happenings.
