Life is Beautiful came to a close this past Sunday, which marks another year of Las Vegas‘ Downtown streets transforming into an immersive art experience.
The festival headliners were Lorde, Jack Harlow, Rico Nasty, Calvin Harris, Arctic Monkeys, Gorillaz, Cage The Elephant and more!
Over the weekend, the festival took over 18 city blocks and injected color, music and joy into the Downtown area.
This weekend was a three-day event of discovery and musical enjoyment. From immersive art installments, unparalleled food experiences, and local vendors; this festival is a full embodiment of the creative cauldron that Las Vegas is.
Some festival highlight:
- Rising Stars Stage
- The Pizzeria
- Market in the Alley
- Fergusons Downtown
- Life Is Beautiful Letters
- Kicker Comedy & More
The festival’s press release said its synopsis perfectly, “Life is Beautiful holds a credo of leaving Downtown better than it was found. In addition to many beautification and cleanup efforts, the festival also dedicated time and effort to helping members of the community.”
Life Is Beautiful is pure Las Vegas, and the community efforts show this. Its “Feed Our Community” event gave free meals to community members in need while also providing free shuttle rides to local food banks.
This weekend was a time that showcased the newest and brightest stars in the music scene. From house music, techno, rock, hip-hop, rap, country and more, Life Is Beautiful highlights all genres and artists of all calibers.
It was a beautiful time and each artist gave the crowd genre-bending and visually hypnotic performances. The crowd was dressed in brightly-color, textured festival wear. Streaks of colored hair were woven into braids, sunglasses covered the eyes of many and laughs echoed throughout the festival grounds.
Heavy bass could be felt throughout the event, and each stage gave us a dose of different types of music and personalities. This year was simply amazing. Check out the photos below of this year’s Life Is Beautiful Festival.
