Drake Gets Candid About Fatherhood In Interview With Son Adonis
Drake is betting on fatherhood. The Toronto native and his five-year-old son Adonis were guests on Sundae Conversation with Barstool Sports’ Caleb Pressley. Adonis gave hilarious answers when asked how Drizzy is as a dad. Adonis admitted he’s not the greatest reader when Pressley asked Adonis: “Do you think if he did a better job with you at home that you’d be able to read?” To which Adonis jokingly replied: “Yeah.”
Pressley then asked Drake if Adonis tries to block him from dating so he doesn’t have to “split his inheritance” with any future siblings.
“No, not really,” Drake who briefly paused and laughed. The pause had the interviewer press Drake a little more, “But now that you think about it…”
Drake admitted that he “was thinking about it,” before responding how Adonis always compliments his parenting.
“He definitely is like always vibing out with me and telling me how great I am as a father, like a single father,” Drake said, adding: “So, maybe he is trying to deliver a message.”
Adonis gave Drake some props for his sense of humor, saying that he “does a lot of funny jokes” and that he’s a “funny dad.”
Drake has boasted about his big wins with his partnership with Stake, but the biggest bet is not the one that earns him any more millions he revealed.
“Fatherhood,” Drake replied when asked what the best thing to wager on is. “I just mean, in an encouraging way, like, ‘You can always bet on fatherhood. For all the people out there, you can always bet on fatherhood.”
Adonis just turned five last October which Drake shared to his social media. “Happy birthday to my twin,” Drake captioned the photos of Adonis enjoying his superhero-themed birthday at a game room.
