United Kingdom Prime Minister Boris Johnson Tests Positive For Coronavirus
A second major figure from England has tested positive for the coronavirus. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced on Thursday that he has tested positive for the virus. Johnson said he didn’t feel well on Thursday and showed mild symptoms of the virus. He got tested and his test came back positive on Thursday night. Johnson is self-isolating at his Downing Street residence, and says he’ll still be able to conduct the business of the nation and will continue to battle the outbreak of the virus. British Health Minister Matt Hancock reported that he has tested positive for the virus as well. Earlier in the week, Prince Charles, the heir to the English throne, tested positive for the virus.
