Masks, Gloves On The Way To Nevada, Says COVID-19 Task Force
The COVID-19 Task Force established by Governor Sisolak and headed by former MGM Resorts CEO Jim Murren has received over 200,000 N95 masks and approximately 1 million gloves to assist front-line employees.
As of Thursday afternoon the task force acquired 241,000 N95 of equivalent masks, 1 million pairs of gloves and 700,000 surgical masks. The task force also received 100 gallons of hand sanitizer and 2,000 surgical gowns.
“I am in awe of the efforts of this Task Force,” said Chair Jim Murren. “They hit the ground running, and through their relationships, commitment and determination, they have already made a significant difference for our State. I’m honored to work with this group, and as proud as ever to be a Nevadan.”
Over the course of the next week and a half, Nevada expects to receive another 750,000 N95 masks, 400,000 pairs of gloves and another 261,000 surgical gowns.
