Las Vegas Blue Man Group Laid Off By Cirque du Soleil
Monday marked the end of Las Vegas’ iconic Blue Man Group. The cast & crew were informed of their termination from Cirque du Soleil, according to The Review-Journal.
Cirque du Soleil acquired the Blue Man Group in July 2017. Although the blue trio and crew members are out-of-work, it is only temporary.
“We have every intention to reopen the show when government guidelines allow,” said a Cirque spokeswoman.
The Blue Man Group show inside the Luxor has remained dark throughout the COVID-19 shutdown. It made its debut in Vegas in 2000.
