Google released its 2022 “Year in Search” stats. Not surprising, Wordle was at the top of the list! Along with elections, and celebrity deaths.
I’ll show you what was searched nationally, after we look at the top searches in Las Vegas:
1. Las Vegas searched for flight cancellations more than any other place in the U.S.
2. Las Vegas’ top trending animal was the Pallas cat: The Pallas’ cat (Otocolobus manul) is a small wildcat known for its unusual, and adorable look. It has a flattened and rounded face, stocky build Its super fluffiness make it appear stout and plush. But they’re definitely more than just pretty faces. Here are some other fun facts about the Pallas Cat.
3. Las Vegas was one of only 3 places with “doggy daycare” as a top trending “near me” search.
4. Las Vegas was the only place in the country that had “black bean burger” as its top trending recipe
5. Rap was Las Vegas’ top searched music genre
6. The top trending “near me’ search in Las Vegas was “gas prices.” And next in the “near me” category for Las Vegas: foot massage near me, cheapest gas near me, food banks near me, pilates near me, fingerprinting near me, at home covid test near me, movies near me, facials near me, doggy daycare near me.
