Milwaukee Bucks Protest Jacob Blake Shooting By Not Taking The Court
The Milwaukee Bucks have been trending on social media; they have yet to hit the court for thier with the Orlando Magic. ESPN is reporting that NBA officials have gone into the Milwaukee locker room.
The Magic were warming up before the game, but the Bucks’ half of the court was empty.
“We’re tired of the killings and the injustice,” Bucks guard George Hill said, according to ESPN. The team is protesting the police shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Blake, who is Black, was shot seven times by police in Kenosha, Wisconsin on Sunday. A family attorney said Tuesday that Blake is paralyzed and it would “take a miracle” for him to walk again.
