Ready or Not? Fugees Postpone Their Reunion Tour To Early 2022
You might have to hang onto your tickets a little longer if you were planning to see the Fugees this year as the group just announced that they are postponing their reunion tour for early 2022.
The hip-hop group which consists of Wyclef Jean, Lauryn Hill, and Pras have announced on Instagram that they will be postponing their 25th-anniversary tour celebrating their album The Score so that they can reach as many fans as possible.
“Dates for our upcoming Fugees 25th Anniversary Tour are moving to early 2022 to ensure the best chance that all cities on the tour are fully open so we can perform for as many fans as possible, ” the message read adding, “With so much excitement around the reunion tour, we are also happy to announce that we will be adding more cities and dates! Full details coming soon along with some SPECIAL announcements!”
The tour originally was set to hit major cities in the United States, then hit overseas in London and Paris, and then into Nigeria and Ghana this November and December.
The group most recently played at a surprise show on The Rooftop at Pier 17 venue in New York City which wowed fans.
