Drake Performs At The Apollo, NYPD Videotapes Attendees Leaving
Over the weekend Drake performed at a concert that left attendees confused when they exited the venue. The NYPD was allegedly seen videotaping guests leaving with many of them wondering, why? It’s no secret that a Drake performance would bring celebrities: Justin and Hailey Bieber, Odell Beckham Jr., Kevin Durant, and Ice Spice were in attendance. So a police presence is a packaged deal. However, many fans were confused at the whole ordeal.
Journalist Jon Caramanica grabbed a video of an NYPD officer filming while people in the comments suggested reasons why. One Twitter user suggested that it could be used for facial recognition. Another wrote that they saw NYPD filming inside the concert while it was going on. Many chimed in, reminding people that they are being filmed all the time by CCTV cameras although many have not experienced this leaving a concert.
The NYPD has not made a public statement on why there were filming attendees leaving the concert. Take a look at the video below:

Kendrick came out of his five-year hiatus when he dropped fifth installment to his “The Heart” series with “The Heart Part 5.” In the music video, Kendrick’s face morphs into several deepfakes, including OJ Simpson, Will Smith, Jussie Smollett, Kobe Bryant, Kanye West, and Nipsey Hussle. The Academy rules state that submissions for Best Original Song must consist of “words and music, both of which are original and written specifically for the motion picture.” The song is the lead single for Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis starring Austin Butler. The track went No. 1 on Mediabase’s Urban Radio chart surpassing his father Diddy’s “Gotta Move On” featuring Bryson Tiller. The rapper sampled The Jeff Lorber Fusion’s 1979 hit “Rain Dance” for “Can’t Stop Won’t Stop.”
