Mike Tyson Back In The Ring And Seriously Ready For War
The former undisputed heavyweight champion of the world, Iron Mike Tyson, is set to face Youtube superstar, Jake Paul. On July 20, 2024 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Some might say that it’s a joke and some might say that this fight is for publicity. My question is… publicity for who? Maybe for Jake Paul. Not for Iron Mike.
Also known as Kid Dynamite, Tyson reigned as the youngest undisputed world heavyweight champion from 1987 to 1990. Winning his first 19 pro fights by knockout, 12 of them in the first round while Claiming his first belt at the age of 20, according to ESPN.com.
Mike Tyson Or Jake Paul Needing Publicity
Tyson ended his career with 56 wins and six defeats with 44 knockouts. He hardly needs publicity. Paul, on the other hand, is a YouTube superstar who, by the way, can fight. But is an overnight success.
Celebrating nine wins and one loss to Tommy Fury is hardly enough wins to qualify Paul to fight the baddest man on the planet. I’d like to see him actually climb the ladder like every other professional boxer had to do.
Let Paul get more wins under his belt, get in the top 10, then the top five, and actually earn a chance to fight for a heavyweight Championship title.

Even though this will not be a title fight, it seems as though Jake has skipped the process and found himself fighting a much heavier legend like Tyson.
According to USA Today “Paul has previously fought as a cruiserweight for most of his fighting career. He will look to gain weight to classify as a heavyweight for the fight against Tyson”.
Getting Hit By Mike Tyson Now Is Still Dangerous
If you are walking across the street and get hit by a bicycle, you might get up and walk it off. But if you get hit by a Mack truck, the chances of you getting up are slim to none!
According to voi.com “Tyson is estimated to have a punch power of up to 1,600 joules. Rocky Marciano, the only world champion who has never touched defeat has ever been measured by the power of his blows.”
Watching Tyson train for this fight hardly shows that he has lost a thing with age. If you don’t believe me, check out this video and you decide.
