Ride Megabus Las Vegas To Los Angeles For Under $12
The demand for travel from Los Angeles to Las Vegas continues to grow for visitors planning to visit Sin City this summer but there are also plenty of locals constantly trying to find more cost effective ways to get to and from the City of Angels as well.
We are still a few years away from Brightline West‘s high-speed rail system becoming a reality. Expected to launch service in 2027, the eco-friendly train would allow passengers to travel between Southern California and Las Vegas in half the time it takes by car.

Until that day comes, travelers are left with the usual options of flying, driving, or taking the Greyhound. Travelers now have an additional option as Megabus has just begun providing four trips a day to and from Los Angeles with some trips as low as $7.77 plus a $3.99 booking fee.
According to the Megabus website, ride options for Saturday, June 10 include an 8am departure from Downtown Las Vegas on the corner of S. 1st Street & Garces Ave. and an 8:15am departure from the Fashion Show Mall bus stop with arrivals at the El Monte station located at 3501 Santa Anita Ave. in California at 1:45pm.
The afternoon option is a 4pm and 4:15pm departure with 9:45pm arrival.
When choosing to take the bus for your business trip or weekend getaway, it may be a good idea to take along a few essential items to make your experience more enjoyable such as a blanket, earplugs, and a water bottle.
It’s also a good idea to dress in non-restrictive comfortable clothing such as joggers or leggings and to get in a good meal before your journey as there will most likely be few options along the way.
