Delicious Black-Owned Bakeries In Las Vegas You Need To Try
Sometimes, we just crave a sweet treat. To celebrate Black History Month, we want to highlight our favorite Black-owned bakeries in the Las Vegas valley.
One of our first favorites on the list is the Coffee Class.
Coffee Class has two different locations, which you can see here. But, they also have a sister-shop that focuses on non-dairy coffee options called Almond & Oat Coffee House.
The menu features light bites and great coffee creations that are perfect for any caffeine lover. My personal go-to is a cold brew with a flavored cloud top. The cloud tops are essentially cold foam. But at the Coffee Class, the local shop offers a plethora of flavors like banana, cherry, churro, Oreo and more.
The pop tarts are also a local-loved bakery item. The strawberry shortcake sweet biscuits are a delicious treat. The meu often rotates seasonally, but their staples include puffed pastries, quiches and strudels.
Sweet Jewel Baked Goods
Another Black-owned bakery in Las Vegas is Sweet Jewel Baked Goods.
Essence Jones, who comes from a long line of bakers, found the company in 2019. You must set an appointment for pick-up, and the website has further information about pick-up information and menu options. The cookies from Sweet Jewel Baked Goods are divine and can satisfy any craving. She also has season goods available.

Canna Cake Babe
This is another fun and electric bakery that offers a twist on traditional desserts. This baking company specializes in vegan baked goods; everything from cupcakes, traditional cakes and cake truffles are all available with the purchase of a cake.
Their cakes are adorable, and she can custom make a cake into a piece of art. Canna Cake Babe also has a variety of cupcake flavors that include almond, chocolate cherry, cookie dough, pineapple upside-down cake and more.
