The city of Las Vegas finally has its first major league championship as our Las Vegas Aces beat the Connecticut Sun Sunday in Game 4 of the WNBA Finals.

Fans are frantically trying to get their hands on Championship gear to wear to tonight’s celebration parade and to show their support during this exciting time. The team announced two official pop-up merchandise stores selling a variety of gear and memorabilia.

I stopped by the first pop-up this morning which was held at Findlay Toyota 7733 Eastgate Rd. in Henderson from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and couldn’t believe the amount of people waiting in line. As great as it was to see so many people come out and support the team, there was no way I was going to make it through that line in my allotted time.

The second pop-up store is scheduled to take place tomorrow (Wednesday) from noon to 7 p.m. at Autonation Toyota 6300 W. Sahara Ave.

From what I saw on display, Championship T-Shirts were selling for $40 while hoodies and other items were selling for as much as $85 and $110.

A more affordable option may be to “make your own.” A local custom print shop that I myself have shopped at, Customistic made some really cool t-shirts in honor of the Aces win (see below). The store turns orders around super quick. Find them at 2605 S. Decatur Blvd. Suite 105 in Las Vegas.

Whether or not you’re able to get your hands on some Championship apparel, make sure to come out and show your support for our Aces tonight for the official parade and festivities by wearing red.

Today’s free event kicks off at 5:30pm and is open to the public. Attendees include members of the Las Vegas Aces, the coaching staff, as well as city and state officials. The main stage can be found in front of the Bellagio Hotel Fountains.
