March Madness is in full effect this week here in Vegas! Thousands of hoops lovers have already made their way to Vegas to enjoy watching the NCAA Men’s hoops tourney but March Madness will take on a whole new meaning starting on Thursday as our city hosts the West Regional semifinals and finals at T-Mobile Arena.

In the semifinals on Thursday the University of Arkansas will take on the University of Connecticut in the first game at 4:15pm. Arkansas got to the regional semis by taking out number one seed Kansas last weekend.

The second game of the semis will be a doozy as UCLA, which has a huge fan base here in Vegas will battle Drew Timme and Gonzaga at 6:45pm.

The regional final will be on Saturday at T-Mobile, time to be announced.

Vegas hosts many college basketball conference tournaments but has never hosted an NCAA tournament game. The NCAA has frowned on having tournament games in cities with legalized sports betting but softened it’s stance, allowing Vegas to host the West Region semis and championship. Vegas will host the Final Four in 2028.

Our ascension as a major sports town continues!
