Job Opportunities Abound
It’s summertime which means that tourists are flocking to our city to vacation and enjoy all that “Sin City”…also known as “Win City”…has to offer. It’s also the time of year when casinos and resorts are hiring to help handle the influx of visitors. Not only are our existing resorts doing a lot of hiring but Vegas has a couple of huge projects that are set to open before the year is out and are looking to fill a myriad of positions.
The first of these is the MSG Sphere. Set to open on September 29 with a inaugural performance by U2, the MSG Sphere is a more than $2 billion entertainment venue which Vegas has not seen the likes of. Everybody has noticed the globe shaped structure which reaches almost 400 feet in height. Construction is nearly complete and the exterior light show is being tested on a regular basis.
The Sphere is accepting applications for numerous positions including…
Director of event security, suite runner, director of venue technology, event office administrator, network operations engineer, beverage operations, manager food and merchandise operations, event security supervisor, and many other positions.
Interested applicants can apply online at jobs/msgsphere.com.
Another huge property whose opening has been greatly anticipated is the Fontainebleau Las Vegas. Sitting at the north end of the Strip next to the Sahara, the 68 story blue tower is set to open in December of this year. The property is accepting applications for a variety of both front and back of the house positions including the usual plethora of positions in housekeeping, security, and food and beverage operations. The property is looking to interview for managerial positions first. Interested applicants can apply online at careers.fontainebleaulasvegas.com.
These are great opportunities to get in on the ground floor of two of the most anticipated properties to open in Vegas in years. Good luck!
